Im finding it harder and harder to have a quick overlook on how much ammo and equipment i have in newer games, BECAUSE hud and text is simply too small to be able to pick out without having to stare at it for a second or two. That was what the halo games did very right, a BIG crosshair but open in middle, so you could still see everything(not obstructing players), and big icons for guns and ammo made as visual bullets, just perfect.
i have some concern from what i've seen of screenshots and videos from Destiny. Is and option for super high visibility hud too much to ask? Like some games did with color blind enable, why not have hud extra visible enable? (im serious, i really have trouble reading the small fonts and nearly invisible crosshairs)
now, am i the only one having a hard time with text size and huds in general in new games now a days, and should i just stfu and get magnifying glasses for gaming, or is text and hud simple shrinking too much for its own good?
(had image of h3 with big nice hud, but changed to another fps known for small hud size to illustrate what i mean. Imaging sitting in couch, trying to read font size 8-10 on a tv, it's impossible)

Not trying to be funny but you might wana check your eye sight i watched the gameplay on youtube on my telly and everything seems ok. Yes i have to focus on the ammo counter but that's a 1 maybe 2 second deal.

This is an ever growing problem with video games. They need to realize not everybody has gargantuan screens.

That game in the picture isn't destiny. Right?

I agree with shifty. Its a ALPHA build. In Bungie we Trust

I didn't seem to mind that as much as I do the fact that the gun takes up nearly a quarter of the screen. Even the pistol did. When it was in stand by mode and pointing up, it took a ridiculous amount of your field of vision away. So to me, if you are running around, the gun should not even be very high in your field of vision. With where these guns are, there could be enemies right in front of you, or off to the right and low that you are not going to see.

I suggest laser eye surgery

Good thing this isn't the final version.
