Do you want bungie to work on halo again if they had the chance or for 343i to? Personally I want to see how halo xbox one (halo 5) turns out before I say
-
No they are not close to being as good with the story and lore as 343.
-
Bungie is done with halo. It is understandable. They just got sick of making the same game. In a fantasy world yes I would much rather have Bungie make halo. Obviously 343 has no F-ing clue what they are doing. It would seem 343 wanted to make a Call of Duty type game but instead got stuck making Halo.
-
343 shot halo in the back of the head and bungie has moved too far ahead to look back now. So no I don't want bungie back on halo. But neither do I want 343 on it for that matter.
-
No. I was happy for ODST and Reach, but the Chief's story should've ended with Halo 3. As far as I'm concerned, there don't need to be any more Halo games.
-
Bungie is bound for other projects. We can only hope that 343i can do a good job with Halo, because I highly doubt 343i will listen to Halo fans.

*face palms*

A) 343 has shown to be more competent with the franchise in 3 years than Bungie has in 10 B) There's a reason Bungie stopped in the first place C) After their treatment of Destiny so far and other bits recently, they have lost my respect.
-
It's funny because apparently everyone has forgotten the majority of 343i is the Halo dev's from Bungie...
-
It doesn't matter if we want Bungie to make Halo again, I think the only way they would is if Microsoft gives them the rights to the series back and that will never happen. I think after Halo 3, it is clear they didn't want to do another Halo game. Halo 3 ODST was filler between H3 and Reach and Halo Reach was a contractual obligation before they went their separate ways.
-
It wouldn't make any sense for Bungie to start making Halo games again, so no. I would have liked Halo: Reach to be the last Halo game, but since that's not the case it would only make sense for 343i to continue on with their saga.
-
Bungie could care less about Halo at this point. They have a much bigger game to take care of. 343 can handle Halo
-
No. 343 >> Bungie.
-
Hell no.
-
With all that's gone on, I honestly want 343 to go forward with Halo.
-
Edited by FatMarshall: 4/30/2014 1:46:59 AMYes, but I think I'll wait until Halo 5 is released. Once it's confirmed for turbomegashit, Bungie can rightfully take Halo back. Edit: Nevermind. Marty's gone and Bungie's new team of Shadowrun devs doesn't give two fucks about Halel.
Do you want bungie to work on halo again
Never Bungie had a great run with Halo...It was time to do something new.
-
I think 343 messed up halo4 but I'm willing to give hem a second shot but we also have to remember that some of the 343 team worked with bingeing before which is why the were trusted with the title.
-
Edited by BerzerkCommando: 4/29/2014 1:24:53 AMAfter playing Halo 3's campaign and Halo Reach I wouldn't play another Halo game of theirs. After Halo 2 they stopped trying.
-
Bungie would have made Halo 4 worse than 343 did and you know it. Look at the regression from Halo 3 to Reach, then look at the regression (or arguably slight progression) from Reach to Halo 4. The quality leap that Bungie initiated was much larger, profound, and frankly disgusting. How anyone respects this company still is way beyond my comprehension. I hope they don't even ponder, for a second, in even a dream, ever touching Halo again.
-
Pointless post. Bungie is never going back to Halo. We may want them to, but no matter how much we dream of it, it's not going to happen.
-
I want more fantasy based games from Bungie because there ain't no Halo back, girl! Ain't no Halo back, girl.

12 year old back to 11.

No. It is time for Bungie to move on to their Destiny. 343i has taken up the mantle. I am cautiously confident that Halo 5 will be good. Surely they have learned from their mistakes. Hopefully I don't regret these words.
-
No, I want Destiny
-
I do not believe Bungie is interested in buying the rights to the Halo IP from Microsoft.
