If anything the support and devotion of his followers should only be a turn on for future employers. If they see his work, and realize that he has a dedicated fan base backing him.. why the hell would they not hire him? I don't understand what you are implying.

Why would any employer hire a guy knowing their business will be accosted and burned to the ground by scores of random neckbeards the second the guy gets fired? You're not helping him, you're making him a liability.

And I am not defending anybody. I am merely stating that none of this is any of our business. This is between Bungie and Marty. It is company business. What goes on behind the scenes at Bungie is none of our concern, and a bunch of internet vigilantes getting involved does nothing but hurt both sides.

Some of us spend a good portion of our days talking about Destiny/ Halo/ Bungie related topics. What they are doing behind their closed doors will directly impacts us all. This is cause to mourn, not start an internet shitstorm about it. Bungie has their reasons for it, and nothing [b]ever[/b] happens without reason. 2. Private company business is private company business. It doesn't matter how much this affects anybody. It is not the job of any outsiders to get involved unless asked or unless laws are broken by the company in terminating him. This is true at every job, and it is true at Bungie. 3. Did Bungie break any laws? Did Marty ask for our involvement? If not, then how is this not an act of vigilantism? The fact you're bringing Batman, a fictional character into this invalidates your entire point.

You can believe what you want. I have over 100 people in just a few hours after the news that will say differently than you. We are allowed to organize peacefully to express our beliefs, concerns, and opinions about a company that some of us hold in very high regards. We might not work at/for Bungie, but we all have something to say and something to contribute. And Batman had been around for nearly two decades before Marty was even born. He is an icon in both pop-culture and among the masses. My reference to him does not void the validity of anything. Stop being a negative Nancy. If you do not support the cause, stop bumping this thread. Thanks.
