For medical use, fine, I guess, but it has to be for actual medical use. Like, for people with things that really stress them out, like cancer, for example. Just do it in your house and leave it be. I don't want your 2nd hand smoke.
As for recreational use, I'm against it. It does cause damage to you, and that's that. Not only that, but I just don't see the appeal, but I'm anti-smoking in general. IF recreational use of marijuana gets passed in my state (Florida), fine, so be it, but just smoke it in your home. Again, I don't want your 2nd hand smoke, and I'm this same way with regular cigarettes.

I can't think of one situation where you'd be in the presence of second hand smoke for more than a few seconds if you or someone who lives with you doesn't smoke.

The 2nd hand from it wouldn't be as bad as cigarettes but I agree, recreational should not leave the confines of a person's house.

There's nothing wrong with recreational use, nor do you have to subject yourself to second-hand smoke. Hold your breath or cross the street. It does no damage to you. You don't have to smoke cannabis. I don't always smoke in my home and there's nothing wrong with doing it in a PUBLIC area. If you are that afraid of smoke stay in your home.

I completely disagree I am fine with people doing whatever they want but people that smell like weed or cigs annoy the hell out of me.

Sure, lots of smells can be annoying, that doesn't mean you change the world to comfort you, you hold your breath while passing smokers, cross the street, call them morons, whatever you want to do, however, you have no authority to prevent them from exercising a freedom on public property.
