4 RepliesEdited by Prototape: 4/12/2014 6:18:42 AMSelect the pen tool, change the settings from 'shape layers' to 'paths' at the top bar, select the area you want to cut out, right click, 'make selection', CTRL + C, new layer, CTRL + V, done. You pretty much just have to draw around it, but you have much more room for accuracy because it's just clicking around it as opposed to clicking and dragging around it. Plus you can zoom in if need be without losing your progress. The lasso tool is an inferior way to cut things out and should be avoided. Your cutouts will look a lot cleaner.
