the main issue with animation is not the tool but the budget the developpers allow it.the more they expand the animations and the more ressources it takes.

  • Oh you mean hardware budget? If Destiny isn't featuring 32 PvP matches with vehicles and destruction physics like Battlefield on last gen, they should have plenty of processing power to provide for animation.

  • Fair enough. I'm still curious which 3rd party tool you'd choose though. Say they didn't have the budget to create their own animation tool with physics, but had enough to license one. Which would you go for?

  • not sure but i think unreal as built in physics.i would go for unreal and i now its not exacly what you ask.lol.but the engine is more diversified.

  • UE4 is sexy. I'm not sure if you can mix and match their tools with an external engine but who knows..
