Massive is the people that are doing it and their system is called snowdrop
-
Can you confirm if they're using an in-house animation toolset or if they're still using Havok like for the Watchdogs engine?
-
I would like to say bungie normally doesn't stray from what they normally would do
-
I think you misread me there- I meant "is Snowdrop using Havok Animation?" But to reply, I think Bungie is capable of many new things as they are already straying very far from what they usually do by doing Destiny at all. XD
-
Is the same people that did assassins creed
-
if you take a good look at reach you will see that bungie is not straying so far from what they usually do.they just give more because they have more ressources on next gen.remember that the game run localy on your console.the game require internet bacause bungie wish it so.

I wouldn't say an MMO-like FPS is that similar, but either way, what does this mean for animation and tools? They created Grognok and licensed FaceWare... if Destiny is a hit, what's to stop them from upgrading on what they have?
-
well,an fps is an fps.the chore mechanics are the same.as for the engin;i dont see bungie licensing it.its not there way and they would face serious competition that are already well established.thought im sure there is some tech that is going activision s way.(they need it ). faceware is more indie oriented,i think,so there is a market there.but i dont now very well that engin.(if one can say he no an engin very well.lol)

I meant Bungie buying a license, not licensing those tools (those aren't theirs to license anyway)! lol So okay they're making another FPS, I see that as no reason for them to stop being competitive with their tools.
