It's community oriented, so I'd like some input. The basic gist of it is, I'd like everyone to pick an avatar and tell me what they associate it with. See the beta version above. Obviously it's meant to be a bit satirical, and doesn't represent any given member. If it does represent a member, it shouldn't be anything that would break the rules. I could easily pick the avatars and put something down that I think it represents, but it's not as fun when the community isn't involved with these things. Which descriptions make it are going to be based on the response they get. If it's generally accepted as good, I'll throw it in. Submit as many as you'd like. Annnnd.... [i]Go[/i]! -------------------------------------------------- [b][u]UPDATES[/b][/u] 3/7/14 - Page 3 is up! I'm running out of ideas for avatars. Scan through the page, come up with something better than I have. Alternatively, you can go through the avatars by going to Settings - Avatar, then when you find the avatar you want to caption, right click it and click "copy image URL". Or if it's your avatar you want captioned, simply post what you want the caption to be. I'll work on the Random page later. Still having some issues with the script, so the text isn't going to be stylized for a bit. Next feature to be added: While working on the random feature, I ran into a problem that grabbed random lines of text and mashed them with a random image. So I think it'd be fun to have a completely random feature and see what line of text matches with your avatar. That will come later when I fix the initial random page. Lastly, apparently I think everyone runs at the same resolution I do. The layout goes a little weird on smaller resolution screens. It's not too bad, but it's something I'll fix. 3/8/14 - Heads up, weekend progress is slow. I spend most of the day at work. I'll add the newest recommendations tomorrow night! 3/9/14 - Getting a good amount of submissions going now. When this all comes to a close, I'm going to restructure the pages so the user submissions come first. Not that mine aren't hilarious or anything (I know), but this is just as much of a community creation as it is mine, considering this is all possible due to our classy forum culture. Thank you everyone for your submissions so far, keep them coming! 3/16/14 - Page 4 hasn't been launched because I don't have enough content on it yet. Your suggestions are apprecaited, and I [i]am[/i] adding them. It's just not visible to you yet. The random feature is still in the works, and I haven't had the time to add more avatars to it yet. I work and go to school, so my free time for this isn't a constant. I do what I can here and there. Submissions are still open, so if you think of something then post it, I'll add it so long as it doesn't violate the rules (namely harassing other members). Thanks again everyone!
