Halo: Escalation - Issue #7

Source
Summary: “The Fall of New Phoenix”—eight months ago, an attack on Earth left seven million dead, including the family of Spartan Gabriel Thorne. Today the city has been opened from quarantine, and Thorne is going home to see what’s left . . . and what it has to do with the Master Chief. • From Halo 4 writer and comics vet Brian Reed! • An essential addition to the Halo canon! • The Halo franchise has sales eclipsing $3 billion over its lifetime!

Other Info: Brian Reed (W) Sergio Ariño (P) Juan Castro (I) Michael Atiyeh (C) Sparth (Cover) On sale June 25 FC, 32 pages $3.99 Ongoing
My Thoughts: Very exciting indeed! Not only do we have an interesting plot line that might solve some mysteries, including what Chief's been up to, but it also gives us the number of those Composed in New Phoenix. Meaning that Requiem was host to 7 Million Promethean Knights in February 2558. The unfortunate side of things, is that Schlerf is no longer writing Escalation, meaning his involvement with the Halo Franchise is finished. To make things worst, we have Brian Reed writing Escalation now. The guy responsible for Initiation and the dialogue of Spartan Ops.
