I just earned a warning... Latter that week i was suspended because i made a post that contained just a meme.... LOL

    • Since I don't feel like paraphrasing...
In my mind this site has always been moderated and the rules have always applied. "Moderate yourself" implies to me that the rules never changed. It just took them a while to bring ninja moderation into the new build. The new site was an experiment from the get go. Ideally they would have liked to see some of the new features in personalization take care of a lot of the things that otherwise needed moderating in the past. The rules never changed, they just weren't enforcing them. My impression of the moderation around here is that the users on this site have a great deal of say in what is acceptable and what is not. Mods are more inclined to let threads that are "out of line" simply necro out of existence. It's only when things start getting reported or when a flame war errupts that they have to come in and restore order. It really depends on the mod, and it is entirely at their individual discretion.

"It's the internet get over it" is a recurring argument from many getting banned now. Just understand that this forum is different than the rest of the "internet". These forums were originally created with a different sort of content and interaction in mind even though they've become much more accommodating over the years.
A troll without attention or power is indeed much like a fish out of water. points at your avatar (soffish) I'd suggest reevaluating why you use this site, and come back when you know how to coexist as member of society. I have no sympathy for the lot of you getting what's been coming to you.
