If you really want to start developing games, there is no reason to wait. You won't be making crazy triple A titles, but making small games would be good experience. Start with something really small like a mod, and then gradually move up from there. Skyrim modding is fairly easy to get into, and if all twenty of you were working on a project at once, it would go pretty fast after you learned the basics. Once you start, don't stop. Ever. It won't be easy and on rare occasions, it won't be fun. At that point you have to remember why you're doing what you're doing. Keep going until its done and you'll be a great developer.

  • I have already had this discussion with my team and I completely understand it. I just feel like if we got advice on making games directly from Bungie it would help motivate us more and help is as we go along.
