first off, may i please extend my utmost respect for all bungie staffers and those who have made the halo universe possible. since well before XBC and XBLArcade my friends and i have been challenging eachother to video games. thanks to these dedicated folks, we can now challenge the world to our favorite video game; HALO! chicks dig my halo hoodies and love my countless hours of triple shots from seattle to japan.. i proudly claim that i am a gamer and not only a gamer , but a halo brat, with pride. my only regrets thus far are not using 1 exclusive gamer tag throughout my online career, not getting enough autographs at the halo 2 expo at EMP and getting my invite from a close friend to the bungie release party a touch too late to attend. other than that, life is wonderful! blah blah blah.. simply enough, thank you BUNGIE! u have made the quality of my life better and made the teamwork and bonds between close friend and i stronger both online and off. with that being said, i have recently made my first forged map. something that i know that my buddies and i would have a kick a$$ time with. havent tested it much too much after the final save, but i was wondering how to get opinions from professionals on how i did? is there some1 i could send a file share to and get feedback? i am not looking for any handouts or praise on updates.. just simply some expert criticism on my first try at my passion. of course i used foundry as my base and deleted everything before starting fresh. it kinda took on the likes of a mini-ex-horseshoe-snowlevel (im sure u can remember if u think REAL hard to '01) and has a lot of different routes to the other side of the map. with almost every weapon and multiple strategies to use, i doubt if this map will ever get boring. but i am the father, so how can i hate an ugly kid? i named it DUPLEX simply because both bases are pretty much neighbors with identical front yards. PLUS THERE are soccer ball?!!? i believe that every1 will enjoy slaying on any game setting on this custom map! with fun hidden weapons that are just a grenade jump away. other than just letting this gem collect cobwebs on my fileshare, what is the best way to share this fun, new halo experience?

Man all you complainers need to chill. All I ever hear is fix the beat down, fix this, blah blah, you whiners just play the game. and by the way this is Halo 3 not Halo 2... They're not the same GAME! (I'm not talking to you, whoever's post is above me) But if you are remaking an old map, I vote for Sidewinder all the way! Ya, i love that map! So, the update seems not to have fixed my bug, about which I am sad. I must now return to my original plan of -blam!-ing about my tiny inconsequential video game woes: I have the Graduate pin, and yet have somehow managed to not receive the Graduate achievement. I am sad. Despite this being a relatively stupid complaint, I have no one to blame but Bungie. I want it fixed, and I want a sword strapped across my back (the Hyabusa one, specifically). Please don't check my gamertag to find out that I don't have all the rest of the required achievements. Once again, despite my whining, thanks for a fantastic "F"ing game. Put another notch in the win column. Actually... put like seventeen... one hundred and seventeen.

what bungie really needs to do is FIX THE DAG GON BUGS IN HALO ARMOUR UNLOCKABLES!!!!! u r supposed to get commando shoulders when u get "killing frenzy" and recon armour for all the meta games! this is crap! {not in a mean way} plz bugie relase that very VERY sexy armour...and u know what im talkin about.........=] r3c0n!!!!!! {join recon group im in!} we gotta find out how or bungie needs new achivments to unlock these pieces of armour!

Yet another update and again, I'm saddened as these fun aspects of the game are completely restricted to me.You guys at Bungie stress the use of Forge and how much fun it is as well as the fun of checking out your own films or someone else's films, but the biggest problem I've had so far with Halo 3, is that I cannot view such content! My parents, humble as they may be, decided not to lie about my age when it came to XBOX Live subscription and said my actual age of 16 instead of 18, me thinking this wouldn't be problem didn't complain, but if I had known way back when that being under 18 would restrict me from some of the biggest and most innovative parts of Halo 3 then I would have lied! Please...help me! I cannot play custom games with Forge maps that my friends use and cannot even view my own films! Bungie please! Your my only hope!

I think sanctuary would work better than any other remake tbh, seeing that the beatdowns are now obsolete, middy wouldn't be as good as it used to be. I also really really really hate that no matter if your running or jumping your beatdown will take down the same damage, why have you noobified the hell out of beatdowns ? Bring back the old system of stronger jump damage and make normal melees weaker, therefore you should make the delay time between 2 melees shorter so that after your first melee you don't have to jump backwards and shoot them. If you make melee more enjoyable than these new smaller competitive maps will feel a lot better as well.

Just came here to suggest my opinions about the update.... 1.) FIX THE BEATDOWN SYSTEM!!! The beatdown system in Halo:CE and Halo 2 worked ALOT better. 2.) Of course Midship... I'd also like to see Sanctuary. 3.) I honestly thought the br is fine the way it is. People if you want things like Halo 2 then go play Halo 2. This is Halo 3, not the same thing. 4.) THIS IS MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT, Plz, Bungie, fix the hit boxes!!! They are, without a doubt, BROKEN.

Good to know Bungie is creating some awesome content and informing us on upcoming maps and forge items. I'm surprised how Bungie is still expanding on Halo 3, awesome job =)

No mention of the MM update that wen't live with the DLC, nor any on the upcoming Tuesday update? What's going on Frankie?

A few things.. Midship must be brought back and it should have vast similarities to H2 midship.. Forge is ok right now but colors and stuff..? Lol. BR shots need to be fixed and the hitboxes should be tweaked.. I've gotten some sniper shots where I've sniped someone in the head and I see blood coming out... but the shot doesn't even affect the person.. :( Player movement is fine since we can change it ourselves. BXR would be sweet in H3.. Beat downs are very aggravating in H3.. Lockout should be remade again... (Hey, it was perfect on H2 in my opinion) Beaver creek sanctuary and warlock are nice, but Pit can cover those maps since its perfect for flag MLG is also what keeps me going on H3. H3 is a good game but with a few tweaks I'm sure it can be a lot better. It will only be a matter of time :)
