Fits Alec very well. He simply sees himself as any other soldier, neither superior nor inferior. Simply a Guardian tasked to be a defender of mankind. Perfect fit if you ask me.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

Ithamar means Island of the Palm tree.....sounds fierce, I know. He was also the Son of Aaron in the Old Testament (I'm guessing Aaron, brother of Moses).

Cool translations though. I really like the comfort in saying his name. Who knows other than you, but perhaps Ithamar will personify the meaning of his name symbolically or metaphorically, if you know what I mean.

Yeah (I think), I'm thinking of something to do with isolation, like an Island out at sea, Ithamar can be distant and strange; or a 'one-of-a-kind' sort of machine.

Sounds like it could open some doors to me. Maybe mysterious could do it. Also the calm and danger contrast fit into the single character himself would work.

That's true, I forgot about that.

I predict that Ithamar will really provide that mixed sense of peace and destruction. In a way he already has with the encounter with those Fallen.
