Arbiter's armor is absolutely badass. My only problem is they went with the new Halo 4 elite look. By that, I mean he has disgusting skin and looks uglier, while the Jackal he kills is an avian jackal from the original games instead of the reptile Jackals from Halo 4. Makes no sense. And while I don't care for Brutes, their new looks makes them look like they have Down Syndrome. Edit: Out of the three Arbiter pictures, he only has the disgusting Halo 4 skin in one. Majority rules. Seems like he isn't ugly after all.

The lack of contact with other Jackals preserved their reptilian heritage. Only taking Jackals from that specific continent would be silly. The Brutes look like Halo 3 Brutes. [quote]Out of the three Arbiter pictures, he only has the disgusting Halo 4 skin in one. Majority rules. • Thanks for the clarification. Things make a lot more sense now.

  • -Well Halo 4 is the first Halo game that shows us how sangheili skin looks like, as aliens you shouldn't expect their skin to look pretty. -Avian jackals and reptile jackals can co-exist in the same universe. One has to look at how animals evolve on this planet based on geography and other factors and you will realize it makes sense.

Correct me if I am wrong, but arbiter was naked in Halo 2, and his armor would always expose some of his skin. Same thing for every other Arbiter. Besides, they branded him with the Mark of Shame. What would be the point of branding anything that isn't skin? He would just remove it if it was under armor they marked. As for the Jackals, I assumed the original Covenant had avian Jackals while The Storm Covenant had reptile Jackals. But now they have both. Just seems odd to me. Especially since they aren't named differently like the Skirmishers were, and those guys looked similar.

  • You are right about the skin part, my mistake.
