Why do many Christians hate gays?
Wasn't that Leviticus verse in the Old Testament? You know, the same book that says eating shellfish and cutting your beard is a sin?
I thought Christians followed the teachings of Jesus Christ, who obviously refuted a lot of the Jewish traditions in favor of more personal freedom and love for all humanity.
Jesus never said anything bad about gays... Least I don't think so...

14 RepliesBecause most Christians keep the Old Testament in some kind of ignorant hypocrisy. If they where true Christians they would have scrapped the OT all together, and if they really followed the teachings of Jesus as they claim then they would love every body. So true Christians don't hate gay people. Also remember a lot of the Bible is out of date and was written in a time where you could stone your wife for not cooking your steak how you like it.
