So, now that it's all out there what has it been? I made this thread halfway through 2013 and TLoU dominated the poll. Has that changed?

Fire Emblem: Awakening, by far. I used to play alot of console games, but honestly I tried to play both The Last of Us and GTAV and I got pretty bored. The gameplay really isn't that great for both of them, so even if they had a good story I couldn't get into it. Fire Emblem had a good gameplay and a good story. Those moments where you are trying your hardest to have everyone survive and finally succeed is -blam!-ing amazing. The plot itself isn't really 'revolutionary' or anything, but the characters in it are likeable, and even if it is cliche in some parts, it still is fantastic.
I mean, the ending with Chrom/Lissa waking you up like the beginning is honestly -blam!-ing amazing, and one of my favourite endings to a game just because of how well done it is. And even if the choices throughout the game aren't really that "story-changing", I still loved them. I mean I promised to Chrom I wouldn't sacrifice myself, and even though that didn't really have an affect on the story, I feel like it made my character's eventual sacrifice even cooler, like a real hero in some fantasy tale.
Most people haven't played it because it is on 3DS and is slightly niche, but I'd say it is worth buying a 3DS over. I is -blam!-ing amazing.
