So I just got back from hunting this morning. Got up at 4:30, was in my deer stand by 5:30. And I left at 9. I thought I heard some a few times, but never saw anything.
It was pretty cold (30 degrees). I had my long johns on, jeans, a insulated jumpsuit, under armor, and a jacket. With gloves with hand warmers and some boots. I still got cold at times, but it wasn't unbearable.
I was hoping to kill a deer so I could make some more deer jerky. Homemade deer jerky is awesome.
Tell me, do any of you go hunting too?

To be quite honest, I got out around 6 with my dad. And in about half an hour I nailed a small 8 pointer with my bow. I spined it, so it managed to crawl a short distance before I hit it in the vitals with my second shot. It was my first kill ever, so a LOT of emotions coursed through me.
