What he did was justified under the law. They were trespassing and had to be removed. It's that simple.

They were still asked to leave because they were disturbing the peace. They did not comply and force was used. Nothing wrong with what happened.

The campus police were not within their legal authority to ask/demand the students to disperse the area.
