Split screen would be awesome. I loved being able to play a great game side by side with my little brother. Having to take turns on this game would diminish its value to many players who love to play on the same console/screen together. Bungie is great at incorporating split screen into their games and I hope my brother and I will be able to share some more great alien butt kicking TOGETHER when Destiny arrives.

I agree if bungie showed even a picture of splitscreen in destiny the hype would only increase. And having splitscreen would actually generate more sales, i know people who won't buy because there isn't a confirmed splitscreen.

I would love for my friends to join in whenever we decide to LAN party it up. Co-op is much more effective when in the same room, add split screen allows for more friends...
