Also, how can you dislike the Batman movies?!

Edited by Dusty: 10/1/2013 8:16:18 PMNot really my thing. I mainly watch superhero films for mindless entertainment, something to kill an hour or two that doesn't really require much thought. which is partly the reason why I prefer the Marvel ones.

Then I think you would enjoy MoS. Also, props for admitting you enjoy mindless action. I'm sort of like that, too.

Man of Steel, from what I can gather, has four layers to it. Surface level- Mindless entertainment? You'll f*cking love the second half of the movie. Story level- Want a good story? You'll like the first half, but you'll be semi disappointed with the rest. "Picking out what seems to be plot holes" level- You'll hate the entire movie. Analysis level- Division between either loving the film to death or hating it.

Why must every post you make be exactly what I'm thinking, but better in every way?!
-
Not true, 80% of my posts are sh1t

No, I like 95% of your posts. The problem is, I don't see the em often enough, and you've been distant last couple of weeks.

Yeah, I've been off here for longer than usual lately.

It's...quite controversial. I absolutely loved it (Superman is my favourite superhero, and I really appreciated it) as did many others. But some people didn't consider it a "Superman" movie because of the people Kal accidentally kills by flying through buildings (although, in the novelization, it explains Kal was leading Zod away from the fight, and he actual saved more lives then he could) and one other detail that is against Kal's character, but I won't spoil it (and it is also explained in the book), but I also consider this a perfect evolution of Kal's character. In conclusion, it sets up the sequel perfectly. Also, the movie got criticized for its pacing and camerawork, but I found that hardly noticeable.
