Yes, the female is historically the most socially oppressed of the two ([url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transsexualism]err[/url], [i]biological[/i]) genders, but isn't misandry as much a social wrong as misogyny? Why not use a more neutral term, like gender-egalitarians or something similar?
I'm sure this is a common question, but I don't think I've personally ever seen a solid defense of the term. Is it just social-inertia keeping it in use? Because that'd be kinda ironic.
