...fine, maybe we can't get Weapon-lowering in online. But can you PLEASE at least make it easier? You know, without having to crouch and jump. maybe LB+RB+Y. That would be nice. ...Plus, if the Weapon lower is abused in online, you could just update the engine, so it wont work on Matchmaking. Or you can take it out, simple. Good update, Bungie! One thing I'm still curious about is how saved films will work with those don't have the maps, and those who do. Only time will tell I suppose.
Posted by: TACCHlMONSTER One of the best updates in a long, long time. I really appreciate you guys for being so honest about so many things. That's all I ever needed to hear. And Luke, thank you for putting a stop to more usless "first" posts. Maybe that ought to become a habit?
I love how everyone is sucking up to bungie in hopes of getting recon armor. 78th post!!!!!

Is there a date set when the new maps will be free?

Oh man... theyre not changing the object lists!? so i geuss we'll have to deal with hornets on construct which makes perfect sense with the 2 feet of space you can fly without falling to your death. [Edited on 11.30.2007 5:17 PM PST]
Posted by: stellar91 That's some good info , and I definately like the sound of THE -loads more to come attitude- But this quote scares me "What you’ve seen so far, is just the tip of the iceberg". (reads like ) ` What you've seen so far is the beginning of a small addition finacial investment ( $10 more) that will eventually become the LEACH known as DLC. (inset devious laugh here , while rubbing hands back and forth ). I'm a fan and I will most likely buy every piece of DLC available. Just another Lemming, oh well. See ya on the new maps .
Nah, don't worry. It's just hyperbole. Remember the "Ultimate Q&A"? I'm glad there were lots of mentions of FIXES sprinkled in with DLC info. I'd also be curious to know who actually sets the DLC price. Is it not Bungie, or not Bungie developers? Not a big deal, just curious since it was stated that "it's not our decision".
Posted by: I Naku I This was, in my opinion, a hundred times better than any of the updates for the past few months. A lot more sober and informative -- but I am somewhat dismayed at the apologetic tone, as Bungie doesn't really have to apologize for anything (well, except maybe the initial maps :p). Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this week's update.
I think given the tone of some of the past updates they needed an update like this. I for one am glad they "came clean". ~telengard [Edited on 11.30.2007 5:13 PM PST]
Posted by: AGDTinMan
Posted by: Switzer If only we could recreate Sidewinder on the new maps...
You can kinda recreate a mini-sidwinder. :)
Really? When the maps come out, you should put one in your file share. I would download it. Thanks for the info :)

Luke, Frankie, please.... Is commando shoulders being looked into? they are labeled in there, and the pictures of them previously released look awsome. I look forward to new maps, but on classics, I just want my vehicular straight forward Coagulation back, also the home of RvB. it has always been a favorite, and I know it would be hard, but continue to ponder? just a little? Would not have to be now, but sometime in 2008? Like April Fools for the long mock period?

Commando shoulders!!
