Thanks, but I think I'll listen to the majority of actual scientists that say climate change is happening

Of course it happens naturally, we're discussing whether or not humans have a significant impact. Did you even read the thread?
-
Allow me to rephrase myself. I'd like to believe the very large group of scientists who support anthropogenic climate change.
-
There's also a very large group that don't accept it, and a nice sized group that think we're already in an ice age.
-
That very large group makes up approximately 10% percent of the global consensus, meaning the vast majority would disagree. As for the ice age issue, there is a high chance of linkage. The reason the better term is climate change instead of global warming is that the change that human beings are (albeit possibly) causing or accelerating can severely alter currents and wind patterns, which does not necessarily lead to increased temperature. It can even lead to an ice age, but it is still a dramatic change in the climate which a lot of evidence has suggested is caused by human beings. It's all linked
-
That is false. There is no clear consensus and data has been manipulated so it is impossible to determine. All "evidence" has been debunked and humans have never been proven to effect climate significantly.
-
Once again, as per my original point, I'd prefer to listen to the people who research this for a living. And, may I ask, what good would possibly come out of manipulating the data? It suggests that educated scientists think climate change is happening because of humans, and if we don't do something, lots if very bad things will happen (flooding, severe weather, extinctions, total collapse of many ecosystems and natural things people rely on). The best that could come out of this, if it was a lie, is an improvement of how humans in general live. Meanwhile, trying to say it isn't happening because of us relieves us of the responsibility. After all, if we aren't the cause, why would we need to be the solution? It's an excuse so no one has to change things, even if the possibility of the things I mentioned above are posing a serious threat. Also, I really can't take you seriously after seeing your booty thread (proven, by the way, was my answer)
-
And as I said, many that research this for a living don't agree with you. What good? They get to keep their government grants and jobs so the government can push phony taxes and fines on us. Humans effecting climate change has still NEVER been proven. Period. Booty threads are irrelevant. I'm not saying she shouldn't advance, of course we should get off of oil and coal regardless. Nuclear fusion is what we should strive toward.
