Xbox One +PS4/PS3/X360 Splitscreen

Ok, so the Xbox One can snap 2 different apps at once, and has a live TV HDMI input. Now I know this isn't as much of a popular feature as MS would like, but a recent quote from a Microsoft employee has thrown up a few new possibilities: "Any application can be snapped to a game, This could be the live Tv feed, so if you wanted to be playing Ryse and Killzone at the same time , you could snap that" Albert Penello, Microsoft So this got me thinking ; could you in theory play any HDMI console through the One? if so then what could this be used for, side by side game comparisons, Splitscreen Speedruns on 2 single player games but on one screen? it does throw up a long list of new features. It could even mean the Xbox One could be used to record PS3/4 gameplay, as currently the HDMI is protected on those systems. So what do you think of this? I personally will be plugging my 360 into the One to overcome cross gen backwards compatibility, if that is possible. But I'd like to see what others think of this.
