GTA V Receives Multiple 10/10 Ratings

Linked above is Adam Sessler giving the game a 5/5 review. Most others I've read or watched have been 10's and one at the lowest a 9.5. Another one I wouldn't consider even halfway credible gave the game a 70/100 because the characters didn't have good morals and there was too much sexism and violence. I could go on for hours about that, but I'll spare you. So as of now, it seems as though GTA V is not over hyped and may very well be one of the greatest games of all time. I could bet money this is true, but we'll all find out tomorrow. What does everyone think?

 • My first thought was... so what? Ratings don't mean shit to me. If I like or dislike a game, it's based upon my own opinion. I have a strong enough sense of Will that I don't feel the need to "borrow" my opinions from other people. I'll buy a game based upon info about the game (not reviews, developer related information) before it releases, I'll play it, then I'll decide whether it sucks or not. I decide whether or not it has replay value. I decide whether or not it's a "keeper" or is simply trade-in fodder. I understand he's had a bright career in pandering to the Gamer crowd, but Sessler can go -blam!- himself, to be honest. I've never had an interest in the GTA series, it doesn't matter to me what kind of reviews it gets, or from whom. I haven't played any of them past five minutes of each of the first three. That was enough to let me know that if I played more, I'd be able to feel my IQ drop. Never picked one up since then.
