Although I wouldn´t play around with hard drugs like that, you should try it once and see how it goes.
If it´s bad or it´s too good, then stop an don´t do it ever again. Be smart about it.

But that´s just me, though. I´m open to try some drugs just so I can say I´ve done it and know what it´like. Although there are drugs, like Coke, that would never risk. I actually really want to try shrooms. Think of me you what you want.

Shrooms are great. If you're after visuals you're better to get some LSD, shrooms are more thought heavy. There are visuals, but it's mostly warping of real objects, you're not going to see shit that doesn't exist. The coolest visual you can get from shrooms is probably the rolling ground; the ground literally heaves up and down like ocean waves, it's amazing.

I'm not judging you, personally. I'm judging the way you said "try it and if it's too good, just quit" ever been around addiction? It's not as easy as the words you typed.

Oh I know, but if you know you´re playing around with something like Cocaine and when you do it it is absolutely amazing, you´re risking falling into addiction. If that were the case then it´s better to just abstain for a week or more so you don´t have an inmediate second dose which would cause you to start falling into addiction. In that week or two you might as well mentally prepare yourself to automatically never try it again. It´s definitely easier to do if you´ve only done it once than trying to quit after doing it multiple times.
