"Halo sights" aren't exclusive to Halo. I did, indeed want the reticule system from Halo.

I know that, it was first used in Marathon. I wanted Doom's aiming system, where you can't look up or down, but we can't all get what we want.

Like I said, we can't all have what we want. If the designers want to have metal sights instead of M1A2 style targeting systems, that's their vision.
