>MLG
lolololololol
For those who don't know, MLG is a joke in the competitive gaming scene.

I am not sure this even is MLG. And yes that is pretty much true but there is no need to hate on something that is hardly related to this for no reason. :)
-
They're a CoD team that's in the MLG circuit. It's absolutely relevant. I still remember the massive amount of butthurt that MLG had when the two teams that made it to the LoL finals played an ARAM for their final game. I know it probably had something to do with MLG still being butthurt about LoL teams spelling out MLGSUX with their bans, but the last thing you want to do is actually give the people who are saying (and rightly so) that your organization is a joke more ammo.
-
The topic is people trash talking in competitive games at major events, not who is hosting the event or looks over it.
-
This kind of behavior is pretty much exclusively found in MLG centric teams. Other competitive gaming leagues have zero tolerance for this type of behavior.
-
Just because they have zero tolerance does not mean it does not happen. I am sure MLG will at least do something about this. They are over lenient but at least they are trying to be fair to players (whether or not they deserve it)
I am sure MLG will at least do something about this.
I doubt it, if they were going to do something about it they would have done so already.
-
It has only been 2 days since this happened to be fair but I do hope you are wrong if not, then ya, typical MLG I guess.
-
I had forgotten about that ARAM, which teams did that again? TSM and CLG?
-
I can't remember, it happened to long ago. I do remember their disqualification being for utterly bullshit and made up on the spot reason though.
-
Found it. Though honestly I can't blame MLG for finding any reason for punishing them, it would be more dissapointing if they submitted and let (admittedly freaking hliarious) stuff like this happen at the finals of their event.

Edited by Lord Commissar: 8/13/2013 11:21:24 PMThey didn't have to disqualify them though. What you do is amend your rules afterwards to prevent a repeat. Doing this was not against the rules at the time, so making up a completely bullshit reason to remove them that had absolute no evidence to back it up was just stupid.
