I have spent so long on skyrim I have to pick else scrolls
-
I like them both equally.... What do I do?
-
Although I played F03, it didn't suck me in like the ElderScrolls games do
-
Morrowind originally won me over, I'll never choose anything else over Elder Scrolls when it comes to RPGs
-
I just prefer sc fi over fantasy so fallout
-
As excited as I am for Fallout 4, the Elder Scrolls series tickles my fancy a tad bit more.
-
how about now
-
Fallout has such a unique feel to it. It's definitely one of my favorite game franchises. So yeah, I like Fallout better. :)
-
I don't know why, but I hate TESIV: Oblivion. I literally cannot play for 20 minutes without getting bored out of my mind. Then again, I've never really gotten invested in the Fallout games either. Skyrim is good, I guess. Huh.
-
I love medieval games so Elder Scrolls.

Edited by UphillMercury: 10/10/2013 8:39:33 PMPersonally, I like Elder Scrolls more. While the Fallout universe appeals to me more, the fact that I have to empty a magazine into a raider before he dies seems a little ridiculous to me, even if he is wearing armor.
-
I can't get invested in Fallout like I can in Elder Scrolls.
-
Overall that is tough. I would take Skyrim over Fallout 3 or Vegas but I would fart rather play Fallout Tactics than any game in either series.
-
I love both series but I just found fallout so much more...immersive. Lot of fun playing all the fallout games.
-
Elder Scrolls to bad I traded my skyrim in for that piece crap Black Ops 2
-
Elder Scrolls
-
Elder scrolls...
-
I loved FO3, but I wasn't wild about New Vegas. I would definitely take Oblivion over the newer Fallout.
-
Elder scrolls has dragons...that you can ride!

Edited by NYKid10: 10/8/2013 7:22:40 PMAs much as I loved Fallout 3 (New Vegas was good, but not great), Skyrim just set the tone for what an open-world RPG should be. Morrowind was also an amazing game. I just wish that Oblivion never existed. It's the red-headed stepchild of the Elder Scrolls universe.

Is it wrong that I don't like either? Nothing against either game, when it comes to terms of story, it's pretty hard to actually beat either in that arena. Given that they basically play like an interactive novel, I think it's safe to say they got it covered.. that said. There are dozens of games with more interesting and fun combat systems (in both the sword and magic realm, and the firearm world). Dozens with better character interaction and relation. And don't even get me started on Bethesda's inability to produce scenes with any real cinematic value, with that feeling that makes you feel like you are your character, and that leave you with goosebumps and real feelings. It's a real shame, given how vastly amazing the worlds they've created for both series are... they just don't play like they are. But, if I had to choose, I'd pick Skyrim. Just because of the few gameplay mechanics in it that I actually enjoy, and how much easier it is to be a Dragonborn in a warring country over a Lone Wanderer in a dystopian capital.

I like the elder scrolls better because I never gave fallout a try
-
Elder Scrolls because I like magic and swords more than guns. Also something about the wasteland in Fallout scares me to death.
-
I've NEVER liked Fallout's combat. I don't like that I have to shoot 500 rounds into a guy to kill him, then do the same for the rest of his crew, then just die because one of them got a lucky head shot. The game doesn't look all that great either.

Booooth are KICK ASS
-
I vote both.
