People who truly believe in their religion, or in God, will still die.
Logically, why would you want to live eternally in this piece of shit world, when you can live for eternity in Heaven?

Well, I'd argue that most people are agnostic in their beliefs. The most gnostic in their beliefs would die like you said; however, most would probably see it as a probability thing. If I had to take a chance between being immortal in this world or possibly being immortal in a better one or end up ceasing to exist if I'm wrong, I'd take the answer I know would happen.

yeah I pretty much agree with that, but you have to think about overpopulation problems and the fact that space travel beyond interplanetary range is extremely unlikely.
-
Not as unlikely as one might think.
-
Easy you choose to accept immortality then you must forfeit breeding rights.
-
I'd be fine with that.

I like this idea! Still sex though? Just not reproductive?
