Well the chain begins... Hopefully other publishers will still green light new IPs for AAA titles. Not a big blow for me personally, Ubisoft really hasn't published much over the past 5 years that has interested me.

... That make no sense, no publisher publishes an IP without thinking it can become a successful franchise. The video game industry hasn't worked like that for a while. Publishers only take games that will sell or are almost entirely finished. They want games to make money off of, not something they can lose on.

And that's where this logic comes from. They're basically saying that and also "There will never be an ending to any of our stories"
