it's true. i mean if we are playing for that long then the armour should not look the same in 10 years as it did on day one. but then you have to ask the question what if you see this rust/scars and think it's not fair that this awesome piece of armour you obtained is now ruined...the only option i can think of is that like an rpg you can choose whether to turn on or off scars/rust, etc.
