1. I don't run adblock for all the sites I go to. 2. I don't run adblock on sites that only have "passive" advertisements. 3. For 30 second ads, like on YouTube, the time adds up if you have to wait that long for every single video you watch.

  • I'll respond to number 3. Youtube ads don't bother me because I see the skip option more often than not, and when I don't it's typically on a 15 second ad.

I don't mind the ones off to the side, or the ones that pop up along the bottom border after 10 seconds that you can close; it;s the ones that are half a minute long and cannot be bypassed that anger me.. I would keep adblock off entirely if those video advertisements were either only 15 seconds long, or had the "skip ad" feature.
