In an interview with IGN, Jason Jones stated that he enjoys playing Destiny with his 5-year-old son. I know that's it's possible for his son to have a tv, PlayStation or Xbox and the respective internet connection separate from that of Jason's, but I find that somewhat unlikely. The only other possibility possibility can think of is splitscreen. The point at which he says that is a little more than half way down the page. (I'm on a tablet so that may differ.)

FYI there are 2 Forums in Bungie.net which'll let you vote for splitscreen. Doing this of my XBOX 360 using 100% flawed internet explorer. can't set a link to either of them. they really need to make I.E. obsolete.

It's been confirmed that there is no Spiltscreen. And by playing with his son, he probably meant being on the same couch with him.

I hate to break it to you but Bungie and Activision have both confirmed that there will be no split screen gameplay in Destiny as it is a game for normal online multiplayer and they're making it like so, so players get the full graphical experience of the game. Sorry bud. No split screen.

If you want a say on splitscreen. [https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post?id=65349153]

More likely at this stage Destiny is probably being played on Dev Kits, and as they have a hundred or so of those laying around...

Never notice that! Thanks for pointing it out. It looks promising!

Spilt-Screen ... Of course .. They will, Right?

Why does there have to be a separate internet connection to play together?
