I am a gun nut, i also love customization. So i'm, curious as to how much we will be able to customize. I personally hope it is really extensive. I mean a qualified Gunbuilder sim....i won't get it because i don't think that's ever been done in a game of this type (the closet has been medal of honor). So what do you think?

It would be cool if you could choose your ammo type to, insted of ball ammo you could use hollow point, insindeary, explosives, armor piercing or acid type.

If they put in an attachment system, It would probably work best as basic, maybe extensive if they knew how to pull it off. Personally, I'd like to see attachments alter things like reload speed (extended mag vs. taped mags) and weapon switch speed and run speed (scope vs. iron sights.) I haven't played MoH so I wouldn't know what that kind of gun customization would be like, but I'm assuming It's similar to what I mentioned.

It'd be nice if there is complete game gun crafting, but since the guns already have a power tree I bet there will be somewhere between basic and extensive customization

customization of weapons would be awesome. I want it to be good enough so that my weapons would be unique to me and me alone. I dont want it to be like I had just customized one and walk down the street to see that someone else had the exact same thing. "This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine"
-
I want to able to build my sniper from scratch. I think this would be a sweet idea, as the rarest of weapons would require he player to go to several different locations in order to obtain lots of parts of the gun- introduces much harder (and more rewarding) ways to obtain beast weapons.

Not crazy, but just enough to be distinguishable from others

Blacklight: Retribution style, but with more parts.
-
A customization ability similar to Blacklight would be incredible.

"Complete" is unrealistic. then it becomes a game ABOUT gun customization. it would take away from the rest of the game. Basic to extensive I think is more appropriate. Random is what you should expect, at least up till now; that usually how mmos work.
-
The more customization the better. This is what attracts me to video games
-
Basic I like to put a different scope and paintjob on it. But players won't get a big lead on others. It will be mostly a prefferance for players.

Edited by jjkid501st: 7/8/2013 7:25:27 PMIm the stealth type so scopes and suppresser would be fine with me. Im really hoping that you can use any wepon you pick up because wating to be a sertian level to use a wepon pisses me off.

I don't feel like gun customization makes sense with the loot system
-
Gun colour, reticle, and minor details about the gun would be fine with me.

Purely saying BF because BF3 was brilliant with the deployable bipod/laser/tact light plus different things such as mag capacity, scope type of grip etc.
