I think Halo CE through 3 all had great maps, Reach had some bad maps and Halo 4 had the worst IMO. But in my opinion Halo 2 has the best maps, they were great, original, and really fun to play on.

Reach's maps were way worse than 4.

Have to agree with this. Some maps on Reach i refuse to play and will back out of a lobby. At least in halo 4 I can get through the maps.
