What is your opinion, should destiny have splitacreen co-op play

3 Repliesi dislike the fact that consoles support four controllers, heck the xbox one will supposedly support 8! and yet most games have no split screen! i think Destiny should support split screen since there is a big focus on co-op gaming, id be pretty happy if it did, but id still buy it if it didnt. it wouldnt be uncharacteristic of Bungie to include split-screen as they always have before, but i suppose it remains to be seen in the months to come. i love grabbing some friends and playing on the same tv!

6 RepliesI think split screen is unlikely, though it could possibly work. Though, it would force you to stay in a fireteam together for the duration, and you'd have to have an account of your own to access your own toon. All that put together makes it difficult and unlikely.

I would love nothing more than to have the option of split screen! However, because this is a game more about build up a character the only way it could work is if you create 2 separate characters. Seems like a lot of work on there part! So I would understand if it doesn't. BUT I TOTALY WANT SPLIT SCREEN :)

I absolutely hate when games do not allow 2-4 person split screen co-op. I want so bad to play with my friends but so many games don't allow it. I mean, just DON'T USE IT if you don't like it. That's a fair choice. But not having a choice to do it at all is just ridiculous.

It should have Split Screen so we can play with friends on the same console. Honestly for the love of The Sacred Rings if you don't want it then don't use it. It's for the greater good.

Destiny should have split-screen co-op. It's not going to change my mind on buying the game, but I would be rather disappointed if it doesn't have it. Nothing like having a buddy over and ribbing each other when he blows you up by an "accidentally" placed grenade or rocket.

I REALLY hope this is splitscreen, not for the story, but just for playability. My wife and I really enjoy playing games together, and games that don't have a split screen are not viable for us.
