I know there hasn't been confirmation either way yet, but I really hope there is split-screen co-op. I don't particularly enjoy online multiplayer anymore, even thought I probably played 200 hours of Halo 2 and another 200 hours of Halo 3. It's just not my gig like it used to be. I can't get into Borderlands or CoD, I couldn't get into the online multiplayer of Reach or Halo 4. I just don't like playing with/against compressed voices; if I'm going to be alone in the room, I'd rather just play solo.
So here's a +1 hoping Bungie includes split-screen for those of us who enjoy playing games when friends stop over.

I REALLY hope this is splitscreen, not for the story, but just for playability. My wife and I really enjoy playing games together, and games that don't have a split screen are not viable for us. This games looks amazing and it would be a shame to not include it. One thing going for a splitscreen is that all the halo's have been.

This game is nothing but one big online Multiplayer game... you will have co-op everything with people online, if you are looking for a slip-screen co-op for the game then this is probably not the game you are looking for because it is way to big and expansive to have more then one player on each console, the system would start to go haywire the farther the two of you got way from each other... I don't see why people like split-screen so much, it takes away visual points and makes it harder to see what is going on, on the screen... on top of that you won't just be playing competitive multiplayer in this game... everything is co-op online, from the games campaign and the open worlds you will be able to explore...

In a game as big as destiny I doubt split-screen will be possible, it's a big enough step making a game this big multiplayer let alone having 2 people per console

Edited by Dead Account: 6/15/2013 6:15:43 PMYou do realize 400 hours is only 16 days, right? That's nothing. Sounds like you hardly played them. OT: Doubt it and hope not.
