I'm looking at the launch line-up for the next generation, and I'm not enormously impressed. I decided to look at the winners of Game of the Year in the last transition between console generations. Most GotY awards in 2005? Resi Evil 4. A Gamecube game. Joined here and there by Shadow of the Colossus on PS2 and Civ IV on PC.
I'll grant you there have been exceptions to the underwhelming nature of launch titles, such as Halo: CE and Mario 64. But the eighth generation looks to be pretty meh at birth.
Also: BioShock Infinite and The Last of Us. And GTAV.

The last of us GTA V Tomb Raider Bioshock Infinite Metro: Last light Beyond Two Soulds All great games for current gen, all GOTY contenders.
-
Wii and PS3 launched in 2006, which was pretty split between Gears of War, Oblivion, and Twilight Princess.
-
Current generation.

I think Last of Us is going to take it. BioShock: Infinite was just... wow. But Last of us is just.... I don't even.
-
The one with the most nostalgia.
-
The Last of Us, hands down! Metro Last Light just got dunked on!

Interesting question, I'm going with current Gen because of the games you listed, all three of those could win multiple goty awards
