If you don't like another member's posts, freaking click the damned button. I still vote for one of the employees to put in a global mute for everyone. What I mean is that a group of people nominate someone to be muted. If a big portion of the entire community decides to mute that person, then that person will be forever muted to all accounts that currently exist and ones that will be made in the future. That person that is also muted will not have "This post is hidden", because it's not really hidden. It [u]will[/u] be legitly hidden, meaning that there will be no button allowed to show that person's posting. How this will factor in alts, I will leave up to the employees.
