I read a Youtube story in Halo 3? What does that mean? Cheers. As I said in the post, the WC was not my wisest move, but it's certainly been a hit with many members. It's quiet, these days.

I think you were reading one of your story's man lol on you tube or a story. Sorry kinda fuzzy on the details i just know it was a young guy who Had the same name so i am hoping that was you hehehee. WC was not bad it was the contests that i think got me. I just felt it should not be just the admins or one guy who selected a winner it but the WC its self who voted on it. Other than that i loved being there. Allot of good stories to tell. I did write a quite a few if you recall. Heck i still do. Also allot of freedom to create story's and we were inspiring each other. I did like it but i felt when you have one person choose something was the reason why i left its going to be geared to his/her tastes. Not that he did anything wrong nor did i see anything. The key is to success is to get everyone involved and let them have a say in the matter. In a contest it should be voted by each member. WC i felt was not a mistake just the way you guys were trying to do it. Like i said no hard feelings we all go through stages in our lives when some one cannot tell you. You have to experience it for yourself. Leadership roles are hard as you have to direct the content and context but listen at the same time. Also you have to know when to listen to a real complaint and when people are crying over nothing. I learned all this through playing WOW and other games over the years. Heck i am apart of a Day of Defeat Clan. Its best to not to overwhelm your self but let things happen and keep the flow going. I think you did keep the flow going. Like i said no hard feelings. We all grow we all regret. Heck we all try to do the best we can. My concern is there was too little listening and too much burden on you guys shoulders. Not to mention my questions of fairly doing a monthly contest or was it weekly i forget. Some feel insulted for some reason when you explain that the current system is used is not working well as a personal affront to them. If no one is having fun any more there is something wrong. It should be the guys at the top who make sure every one is having fun themselves included. Few observations while i was there. Trust me i am far from perfect. Yet with B.next i kinda miss my saved threads and my monkey story i wrote. I am sure WC will make a comeback. I think you did good the hard part is finding the right people to help you on that quest of greatness. Trust, Honor and Integrity. That is what makes a good admin. I hate to say it but some of our friends just do not fit in. Anyways enjoy the eight years. Grow a beard tell me of your travels when Destiny hits. Its never the destination that takes time its the travel on the way.-Commander.
