The sheer stupidity and ignorance, blind hatred and rustled jimmies... It's too much..
I was excited for the future, happy next gen is coming, happy about all the games.
But if this is how people are going to act... People world wide are getting really mad for insignificant reasons, throwing accusations at companies as if their decisions were meant to affect only them. Microsoft isn't ruining the gaming future, bungie isn't betraying anyone.
Do you know what will be the downfall of the gaming community at least? It's people. Angry people who choose ignorance rather than being happy we can all look forward to new games, no matter what console you choose. They both play games. Don't like Xbox? Don't buy it. Don't like ps4? Don't buy it. Bitching and complaining and whining isn't going to help the gaming future you think you are fighting for.
The truth is, all these complaints and hatred. Are induced because of change. Gamers are afraid of a bold new future. They want the comfort of everything staying the same with only better graphics and new IP's.
But look at what the entire Internet has become. Every forum, social media site... Even YouTube...
There is nothing but hate, anger, foul language and little hissy fits.
If gamers don't start embracing the future and being mature about it.. How can you expect the gaming future to be bright? The world is showing its true colors, and it is a sad shade of stupid.
Grow up, for the sake of enjoying games.
Please stop ruining the world with elitism.

Good post! People tend to take any kind of news personally and that is one of the biggest problems with the intrernet and social media in general. I'm just thankful there are awesome new consoles coming out and that we can choose the one we like best and a brand new saga to inaugurate them in with.

I hear what you're saying about whining, self-enitled gamers who rant and rave about rather silly issues when in fact entertainment companies are producing quality products for them to consume. No matter how whiny and ignorant (or whatever other negative attribute you can think of) these people are consumers who spend money on these products. I cannot for the life of me see how they are contributing to the "downfall of the gaming community" as long as they keep buying games. Businessses need to respect the consumers who buy their products, even if their consumer is a immature, bratty 15 year old with a hormone imbalance.

Look I want to look forward to this new future. I want to join it but I'm afraid Ill be left behind because I lack a decent internet connection or broadband.You have to remember there are people who will be left behind because of this DRM or check your console every 48 hrs and used game problem.You make valid point's that the gaming industry is full of whiners. But I don't think your in the same boat as people like me who has unreliable internet and enjoys sharing my games with my friends. Bungie has my loyalty but microsoft is preventing me from playing destiny for a week because my internet is down. People whine and complain because they need to make these fact's known to microsoft on the slim hope they hear us out and eliminate these problem's.Every game bungie produced i bought because I enjoyed fighting on an alien world as a badass soldier(halo 1-3) and commanding my army to eliminate key covenant bases(halo wars) or my personal favourite fighting through a city in the night trying to find your squad(halo ODST).

I also find it amusing when websites take this chatter as 'proof'. The 'feigned hate' you see is like a modern day tag. I'd love to track stats (Bungie - I'm looking at you) to see how many monkeys who have stated their hate for XboxOne (or PS4) and declared they will never buy it, end up playing Destiny on that console.
