The child being read to grows up to be the Hunter, and he's remembering the night when his dad read The Law of the Jungle to him. While it would be cool to have moments for the Warlock and Titan, there is a reason for the focus on the Hunter.

Your story fits better. Otherwise, there's not really much place for the action of these 3 random Guardians to fit into the narrative. It's less likely the kid is imagining in detail what the Guardians face. I suppose it's possible that the father's the hunter, and this is a lesson learned he's imparting to the son in the present not the past. But in any case the ambiguity seems intended, which is smart.

It's more obvious if you read the youtube description, by which I mean that it flat out says it. I kinda like the Dad being the Hunter better though.... kinda gives him more depth, if you can even have depth in a 1:30 action sequence.

Edited by externalmemory: 5/24/2013 9:39:29 PMYeah, obviously missed that, already been told. Sure, sort of like the legacy in the We Are ODST spot (probably my favorite for a Bungie game). Though there was more depth in that one. Hell, you can have depth in even a 30-second spot. People act like commercials can only be these mindless, artless things.

You are correct that the son is the Hunter in the video, read the video description :)

Nah. The child is being read to in the last city about the strength of the pack, while at the same time three guardians fight as a pack on the moon to ensure the children of humanity by kicking ass.

From the Video Description:
As a Guardian of the City sets out on an epic, action-packed adventure to reclaim our Solar System, he recalls the moment when he was first taught the most important lesson of all -- The Law of the Jungle.
Ah thanks, didn't see that. In that case, @craZyboy557 is spot on. :)
