they made it sound as though space combat will be a mainstay; so I would assume that raiding ships would be possible. the question is whether or not we can raid other players' ships

I think that the random ship raids would be really cool. They could make it so that you can get some sweet weapons/armor/upgrades/vehicles/ect from them

Agreed. Maybe only in parts of space close to enemy occupation? Let's say Mars is mainly occupied by Kabal, that would mean a hightened chance of ship raids by Kabal ships. The closer to Earth, the less chance it will happen. This way it would be less random.
