I recently got a new graphics card for my computer and a dual monitor setup is something I've been wanting to try out for a while now. I don't really want to go all in and buy two monitors right now, so I was considering getting another of the same model as my current one. I have only one question, is this a bad idea because my current one is quite a few years old, which doesn't bother me, but will the two monitors display images differently due to the possible age difference? I say possible because I am looking at used ones on Amazon.

Some LCDs have been known to "dim" a little over time. But if you think that it's valuable to have matching monitors, the likelihood is that the 2nd one will have a similar amount of use and if it has dimmed, it will be close to the one you currently have.
