What would happen if Halo took place 500 years in the future?
So, what would happen if Halo took place in 3017, compared to the year 2517? Now when I say "Halo" I mean the beginning of the spartan program, when Halsey went around inspecting children who would be suitable for the spartan program. So that means the covenant hadn't begun attacking humans yet, and the insurrections had kept going on and humanity (as well as the covenants) technology would have kept advancing.
What do you guys think would have been different? I think the story and chain of events would have been very different, what do you guys think?

3 RepliesIt would be 3017 instead of 2517. The only difference I'd see is the technology. But at that point the Covenant would have advanced more as well, if not already activated the Halo array.
