By a cat. It was meowing for like 2 hours straight, so I open the door and it runs in. It (he?) is super friendly, but won't stop meowing...I think it's lost. I put it outside and it's just sitting there meowing.
What do, Flood?
-
Is it on your porch?
-
I bet the rest of the Flood is eager for some pussy to invade their home, too.
-
Hey that cat has eyes like a Collec-*ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL*

*waits for Porch day style threads about things coming to apartment doors* OT: Do you like cats? If you do and you find that it hasn't been microchipped after visiting a vet, you might as well keep it.
-
I looked after a stray cat for a while. Didn't keep it inside, my cat hated him (like all cats hate each other) but feed him at the same time as my cat. Later along it's life it was more and more sick and sadly died, buried in my back garden. Sucked that he died, but I take comfort in the fact that in his last few weeks I kept him warm and fed rather than dying of starvation in the cold streets.
-
Give it food.
-
Keep it.
-
Give it food and phone an animal shelter?
-
I wanted to see blood OP. You've disappointed me. That cat better have an attitude problem, because I expect pics of your mangled arms before the hour is up.
-
Eat it
-
We came back from vacation once when i was a kid and a cat had moved in to our backyard and had a litter of kittens. We couldn't just kick them out so we started buying them food and took care of them until they got big enough to live without mom. We found them all good homes and then she took off shortly after they were gone. As for your situation I would put up found cat posters w/o a picture on it and make them describe it.
-
Eat him. Tastes like small monkey, I've heard. Or take him to a shelter. or both...
-
just remember, you feed often, it's legally your problem. locate a local no kill shelter to dump it at.
-
DIRECT INTERVENTION IS NECESSARY

Where's Kitten Strangler when you need him?
-
give it a unicorn horn

If you feed it, he may become a permanent resident, and decide to never leave. If you do not wish this, and all the things that come with having a house cat, I suggest you simply place him back outside and he will leave eventually. Cats are very, very resilient and resourceful. I'm sure it could manage outside very well on it's own, unless it is declawed. If that's the case, don't put it out, but put up signs if you can saying you found a lost cat (with it's picture).
-
It has flees
-
What if the cat's owner died and he is trying to tell you that?
-
Just keep it there until he leaves. I like to think of the good things karma can give me if I look after a stray or lost cat. Happens to me all the time.
-
And here I was getting ready to ask if you beat some ass Turkey....
-
Its eyes are glowing yellow. I don't think cats are supposed to have glowy yellow eyes. It's probably an evil cat robot.

Edited by OliG: 4/5/2013 8:58:08 PMNo feedy the milky. NO. BAD. They need specific cat milk, about 1 in 3 of them are susceptible to being poisoned by an extra amount of proteins or vitamins or something. Like the polar explorers who died because they ate the livers of their dogs, which contained too much vitamin A. If it's meowing, how is it? Is it a more pained one, or is it soft, or sharp? They're like ickle babies. You can tell. I'd also advise that you check it for a collar, and if not take it to a vet, because it may be microtagged. But definately give him/her some food. Water in a bowl bigger than it's whiskers, and either chicken or fish. My cat fricking hates beef. DARN KITTY. Oh yes, and if you keep him, expect to be annoyed. My cat comes and sits on my head and hits my face and meows until I get up in the morning. Oh yes, and check his paws. If they're scratched, go to a vet because it's been run over.

Feed it to a dog
-
Keep the kitty!

My sister and her husband had a police raid next door in their apartment complex. Beforehand, they had asked the drug dealer why he had so many people come to his apartment so often and he said he cut hair for a living. Right.
