What does Bungie and the community mean to you?

Hi Septagon. Lately, I've been reflecting upon my footprints, including those in the community I have called home for a few years now. During my brief time here, I've laughed uncontrollably, marveled at the genius of your creative speculating minds, and participated in heated debates. But it was all not fun and games. All that passion often leads to conflict, and I feel deep remorse for the words I have said to both Bungie and fellow community members. Each and every member is integral to forming the culture of this site. In times of success, in times of bliss, and in times of despair and turmoil, this community has been there together and for each other in more ways than you may know. For that, I am honored to have the opportunity to be a member here. As we continue to move forward in a new era with Bungie, I can't help but reminisce in the memories of when I first joined. The excitement and wonder unified us, and we once again speculate and listen for the next update or ViDoc. This comes as a much needed breath of fresh air from our less collaborative times. It is my wish that we continue this throughout so that we can maintain that passionate but loyal and true community onto Destiny. I just wanted to share these thoughts. We may argue, get on each other's nerves, and exercise the silent treament, but we are all part of this great big Bungie family in the end. I thank you all for patiently sticking through thick and thin with it, and for welcoming this hobbling goat. ♥

A question that can never be answered. Bungie.net is a paradox of socializing, anticipating, development, relationships and procrastination. Any combination of those terms is the reason why I still exist here. If it weren't for all the game-nights, forum anarchy, rememberable experiences and friendships I've created, I'd be long gone. Some say "show up for the news, stay for lame jokes", I show up for the lame jokes and news just happens to be posted. We're all a piece of the puzzle, a leaf in the wind, but together we can form something extraordinary. We're ever changing, always adapting to our new and old members. I find it odd that you can generally tell the insight of individual members based on the way they present themselves, but it's always interesting to watch others (and notice yourself) change over time. I'm pumped to see what happens as we move full swing into the "Destiny Era" of bungie.net. Stay classy 7th Column.
