When Bungie brought forge/map editing to Halo, it changed the way players experienced multiplayer maps.
Do you think that Bungie will bring this aspect back?
Also what options would you like to have in the map editing?

Considering that they're putting so much emphasis on the idea that the game will become more the community's than Bungie's, I wonder if they might have a mission creation tool of some sort, similar to Infamous 2 but on a larger scale. Something that would incorporate not only building missions and objectives but also the environment in which they take place.

I'd be a little surprised if they didn't have some sort of map editor. Obviously nothing for the campaign portion, but we have seen possible hints of purely competitive multiplayer, where I would think more traditional maps would fit right in.

My guess is no. Bungie wants to create a consistent universe with everybody being together in one world. A map editor would separate a significant amount of fans from the rest.

I doubt it, though I hope I'm wrong. Maybe faction wars will have its own maps that players can make?
