iPhone stupidity
I'm gonna share a story with you guys today. This story took place yesterday when me and a friend were talking.
Basically he wants an iPhone, and ya know...me being me...I was spitting out some facts about the iPhone. I said that it doesn't have an HD screen. He said it did. The screen resolution on the iPhone 5 is 1136x640p, and HD starts at 1024x720 (although the most popular one is 1280x720).
So he was arguing that because the screen is a retina display that it's HD. just because the screen has a retina display does NOT mean that it's HD. The retina display technology is just the process of cramming a lot of pixels into a small screen. Samsung does the same thing with their phones (they call it AMOLED) and HTC does as well, and Google, etc. etc.
Just because a screen is a retina display or an AMOLED screen doesn't mean that it's HD. So ya...I even showed him online that HD started at 1024x720p and I showed him another article from Tech Radar (which is an official source mind you) that even said that the iPhone 5 didn't have an HD screen, and he still wouldn't believe me.
*Sigh*
Anyways...I just wanted to share that with you guys. Do you have iPhone/Apple stupidity stories to share?

I went to the mac store just to test some of the "Genius's" there. And after talking to 4 different Genius's someone finally was able to tell me how fast the ram is and how many unit's of ram were in the mac book system. Luled.

What do you expect? Apple comes up with something and names it, then uses generic language that talks about what it can do. Just like they called the new earpods "made by apple" which implies that they created the technology of noise cancelling headphones, when in fact they didn't, and then the sheep start making sheep noises and spending £600 a year on some metal and glass.

It's not really about Apple, but here goes: I got on the Flood like a few minutes ago and there was this thread that seemed relatively interesting. So I checked it out and read the OP. Turns out it wasn't interesting at all, it was just another Apple bashing thread because the OP met one person that didn't understand what a retina screen was. So anyways... I just wanted to share that with you guys. Do you have any hater stupidity stories to share?
